General Locksmith Services

Do you serve all neighborhoods in Tampa Bay?
Yes. We cover Tampa and the surrounding Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco County communities — including South Tampa, Downtown, Ybor City, Hyde Park, Westshore, Port Tampa, New Tampa, Carrollwood, Town 'N' Country, Westchase, Lake Magdalene, Egypt Lake-Leto, Temple Terrace, Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Seffner, Wesley Chapel and Mango. We are fully mobile, so a technician comes to you.
Do I need to show proof that I live in the house or own the vehicle?
Yes, for your security and to follow legal protocols, we require a valid ID and proof of address or vehicle ownership before granting entry. Please have this ready for our technician.
Can you repair ignition on-site?
Yes, our mobile technicians can diagnose, repair, or completely replace broken ignition cylinders starting at $150–$300, without towing your vehicle.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and Zelle.
Are your services licensed & insured?
Yes. Global One Locksmith LLC is a licensed Hillsborough County locksmith (County License #HCLOC22009) and is insured. You deal directly with Ben, the owner and lead technician — not a call centre that subcontracts the job out.
Can you set up a master key system for my business?
Yes. We handle master key systems, access control, commercial-grade hardware, panic bars and business lockouts for offices, retail stores and apartment complexes across Tampa Bay. We work with property managers and business owners, and can set up a master key system so one key runs a defined set of doors.
What if my key is broken inside the lock?
We use specialized extraction tools to remove the broken key without damaging the cylinder, and can cut a replacement on site.
Do you install smart locks?
Yes, we install and configure a wide variety of electronic and smart lock systems for residential and commercial properties.
Can you make a new car key if I lost all my keys?
Yes. We cut and program replacement keys and key fobs on-site for most makes and models, including cases where every key is lost. Ben is a NASTF certified Vehicle Security Professional, which is what allows a locksmith to obtain the security data needed for modern vehicles. Bring proof of ownership and photo ID.
Will you have to drill my lock to get me in?
In most cases, no. We use non-destructive entry methods wherever the lock and situation allow, so the existing hardware stays intact. If a lock genuinely cannot be opened without damage, we tell you that and quote the cost before starting any work.
Should I rekey my locks or replace them?
If the hardware is in good condition and you simply need old keys to stop working — after a move, a lost key, or a tenant change — rekeying is usually the faster and less expensive option. Replacement makes sense when the hardware is worn, damaged, or you want a higher security grade. We will tell you which applies to your locks before you commit.
